Privacy and personal data
Here I briefly describe how Webbrick (Marcus Wallén) processes personal data when you visit the website or send a request via the contact form.
Data controller
The controller of the processing is Marcus Wallén, operating under the name Webbrick. Postal address: Vallentuna, Sverige. You can reach me at marcus@webbrick.se.
The contact form
When you fill in the request form on the home page I process the data you provide yourself, for example name, company name, email address, phone number, which needs you select and free text in the message field.
Purpose is to be able to get back to you, understand your need and prepare or discuss a quote or solution. Processing is done to handle your request (preparation for a possible contract) and based on a legitimate interest in answering contact requests directed to the business.
The data is sent by email to the address configured for receiving messages (normally the same address shown as contact on the site). The message may then remain in the inbox or backups at the email provider. I do not use the data for newsletters or marketing unless we explicitly agree otherwise.
Retention and deletion
Requests are kept to the extent needed to follow up the dialogue, document contracts or meet bookkeeping and tax rules if it becomes a business relationship. Other messages are deleted or anonymised when they are no longer needed for this purpose, unless law requires otherwise.
Cookies and similar technology
The website primarily uses technical functions needed for the site to work (for example session or security-related cookies from the web server, plus a language preference cookie). If future additions (e.g. analytics) use cookies that are not strictly necessary, the information here will be updated and, where the law requires it, your consent will be obtained in advance.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to request access, rectification, restriction of processing, objection to certain processing and, where applicable, erasure, to the extent provided by law. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY). If you have questions about how your data is processed, contact me via the email address above.
Changes
This text is updated when the business, website or legal requirements change. If you have questions about which version applies, contact me via the email address above.
